Class Location: Live online via Zoom — Open to students all over the world.
Class Goal: For new writers and screenwriters in the workshop to learn the fundamentals of great storytelling and screenwriting and for each student to write and complete at least one short story or film script by the conclusion of the workshop. For writers already working on a current project, the goal is to help them to evaluate, outline, polish, or complete their existing work.
Who is this 3-day workshop for: This workshop is for new writers and screenwriters, writers with some experience who are struggling, as well as other creatives; authors, actors, producers and directors, wanting to write their own material.
Instructor: Trevor L. Smith, author, produced screenwriter, award-winning filmmaker and motivational creative life coach.

This 3-Day Story and Screenwriting workshop is a 10-hour interactive workshop designed to give you an overview of the three-act structure, learn the elements of great storytelling and the key events that happen in great stories, and start and finish a project in 7 EEEEasy steps before the class ends.

Depending on your writing experience, this workshop will teach you the foundation of greater storytelling and will heavily focus on coaching students through a great writing process from start to finish and helping writers to get back on track, polish, or complete an existing project.

NEEDED Item(s) for the workshop:
1. A desire to tell your story!

RECOMMENDED items for the workshop:
1. Something to take notes with or write on.
2. A marker (Sharpie-type).
3. A pack of 3×5 Index Cards (preferably colored). If you don’t have colored index cards, use what you have; white index cards (any size), post-it notes, copy-paper, lined paper, whatever. Trevor L. Smith’s EEEEAsy Approach Workbook is also available on Amazon and has three 3-act structured templates, following the 7-step EEEEasy Approach, ready for you to write in and outline your novels, feature films, and 60-minute televisions screenplays.
4. A computer with screenwriting software (Final Draft, Movie Magic Screenwriter, Celtx, Word Template, etc.) is certainly a plus, but not required. You can learn how to create and tell your story, and then see where that takes you in terms of writing and formatting your story.
